Mail.com is the best personalized free web-based email.
I've been used through two years at mail.com. That is as good as this from the beginning and until recently was also very pleased with this free e-mail service. But what bothers me the last few months but more and more, but in turn, until a time a few facts.
Mail.com is a free e-mail service, based in the U.S., which is important later. Services like these e.g. gmx or yahoo, there are indeed numerous in the Internet landscape.
Under www.mail.com reach, you can find here an email address according to his wishes, especially because there are countless domain extensions to choose from. These include mail.com, of course, but also europe or usa.com popstar.com so special as you can get. This is one of the nicest features of this service.
The design and functionality is good, but the two pop-ups interfere immediately after logging. Well, after they have clicked away you can see immediately if new email has arrived and can view them, allowed to write, and countless more functions, of which allerdinsg eg the answering machine for German is rather pointless, because of the U.S. phone number. The speed is o.k., at least most.
And here also the main point of criticism. In recent months, I get instead of the Welcome screen more often messages like, "Technical difficulties", etc. Also covered maintenance work because of the time difference to the U.S. usually at the exact beginning of the day here in Europe, what accessibility via email is not exactly useful.
Spam mails, unfortunately, also occur sporadically, but still far from being in the amount of Hotmail.
In summary, I must say that it is recommended mainly because of technical difficulties, this service only eigeschränkt, because I need my emails then if I do not want to get times when the service is back online. Also, because
U.S. specific characteristics, he is less suitable for Europeans.
As a major plus point but I see the variety of possible domain suffixes, with which one can get a really nice and simple email address.
